Description
Sennett Bathing Beauties Thelma Hill, Evelyn Francisco, and Elsie Tarron, billed as "The Little Dippers" in 1924.
All three worked fairly consistently until the end of the 1920s. The rising popularity of the talking picture and the decline of Mack Sennett comedies more or less ended their film careers.
Thelma Hill (left) tragically drank and dieted herself to death in 1938.
Evelyn Francisco (center) never rose very high above doing extra work and modeling. She died in Corona, CA, in 1963.
Elsie Tarron (right), born in Great Britain, stayed with the Sennett crowd all her life, In the early 1930s, she married film comedian Andy Clyde. Following his death in 1967, she married another old Sennett character comedian named George Gray. He died shortly after their marriage. She then moved in and lived with former Sennett Bathing Beauty Ruth Hiatt. You can find Hiatt on this account as well! Tarron passed in 1990.
