Description
The Marine Corps is on hand to promote and recruit during a special screening of the 1920 silent film, "The Dwelling Place of Light" at the Alhambra Theatre, once located at 731 S. Hill Street in downtown Los Angeles. The Alhambra's demise is a bit of a mystery. The last film showing at that address was in 1932. To the right of the Alhambra was Fitzgerald's Music Store at 729 S. Hill.
